Your adventure begins in Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire, before continuing into the Sacred Valley, a land of majestic ruins, terraced fields, and living Andean traditions. A highlight of the journey is the legendary Machu Picchu, where history and mystery meet high in the Andes.
The experience culminates with the spectacular Santa Cruz Trek, one of the world’s most beautiful treks, offering sweeping views of snow-capped peaks, glacial lakes, and untouched valleys.
Throughout the journey, you’ll be accompanied by experienced local guides and Margaux, ensuring a safe, supportive, and deeply immersive experience.

Day by day itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Lima, Overnight Stay in Miraflores
Arrival in Lima. You will be welcomed by a member of our team and transferred to your hotel in the Miraflores district, where you will spend your first night.

Day 2
Cuzco colonial city
After breakfast → Morning flight from Lima to Cusco → Hotel check-in
Guided exploration of Cuzco’s colonial city → Visit to the surrounding Inca archaeological sites: Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Tambo Machay & Puka Pukara
Free time to enjoy the city atmosphere → Dinner at your own pace → Overnight in Cuzco
Included: hotel in Cuzco, transfers in Lima and Cuzco, entrance tickets to all visited sites, private driver and local guide for the archaeological ruins.

Day 3
Sacred Valley – Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Aguas Calientes
After breakfast → Guided visit of the Pisac ruins, famous for their impressive Inca agricultural terraces
→ Time to explore the vibrant Pisac traditional market → Scenic drive through the Sacred Valley
→ Exploration of the remarkable Inca site of Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved examples of Inca urban planning
→ Train journey from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes → Dinner and overnight stay at the foot of Machu Picchu

Day 4
Visit to Machu Picchu
Early morning ascent to Machu Picchu → Guided tour with a French-speaking guide → Afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo → Overnight in a lodge

Day 5
Maras, Moray, Chinchero & Cusco
After breakfast → Visit the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, an impressive landscape of ancient salt terraces still worked by local families
→ Explore Moray, the Incas’ remarkable agricultural laboratory with circular terraces → Stop in the traditional village of Chinchero, renowned for its colorful Andean textiles
→ Afternoon return to Cusco → Overnight in Cusco

Day 6
Flight Cusco → Lima
Bus to Huaraz → Early morning transfer to Cusco Airport → Flight to Lima → Transfer to the bus terminal → Comfortable daytime bus to Huaraz → Evening arrival and transfer to your hotel

Day 7
Quilcayhuanca Valley & Cordillera Blanca Domes
After breakfast → Short transfer from Huaraz to the Cordillera Blanca domes
→ Gentle hike through the Quilcayhuanca Valley (≈4,000 m), an untouched Andean landscape with wide valleys and dramatic cliffs → Return to the domes
→ Free afternoon to relax, observe local farming life, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Cordillera Blanca.

Day 8
Laguna Churup & Cordillera Blanca Domes
After breakfast → Transfer from Huaraz → Hike to Laguna Churup in Huascarán National Park (4,450 m)
→ Challenging but rewarding acclimatization hike with crystal-clear lake views beneath Churup Mountain → Final assisted rocky section (fixed cables, no technical skills required)
→ Return to the Cordillera Blanca domes → Afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy the peaceful highland surroundings.

Day 9
Llaca Valley & Lake
After breakfast → Transfer by private vehicle to the entrance of Quebrada Llaca → Hike to Llaca Lake (4,400 m) in the heart of Huascarán National Park
→ Enjoy the striking green lagoon beneath the peaks of Ranrapalca and Ochsapalca
→ Return hike and transfer back to the Cordillera Blanca domes → Relaxing evening surrounded by Andean landscapes.

Day 10
Refugio Perú
After breakfast → Transfer by private vehicle to the Llanganuco Valley in Huascarán National Park
→ Hike along the María Josefa Trail, through Andean forest and granite cliffs → Short drive to Cebollapampa (3,900 m)
→ Ascent to Refugio Perú (4,680 m) → Overnight at the refuge with panoramic views of the Cordillera Blanca.
Hiking time: 4–6 hrs | Elevation gain: +980 m | Driving time: ~3 hrs

Day 11
Refugio Perú → Laguna 69 → Return to Huaraz
Early departure from Refugio Perú → Scenic hike via a less-traveled route to Laguna 69 in the heart of the Cordillera Blanca
→ Panoramic views of iconic peaks including Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Huandoy & Chacraraju
→ Time to enjoy the turquoise lagoon → Descent via the main trail to Cebollapampa → Private transfer back to Huaraz
Hiking time: ~5–6 hrs | Elevation gain: +250 m | Elevation loss: −1,000 m | Drive to Huaraz: ~2h30

Day 12
Flight Huaraz → Lima | International Return
Transfer from your hotel to Anta-Huaraz Airport → Domestic flight to Lima → Connection with your international return flight home.

Since 2021, she has been designing and guiding immersive, transformative journeys around the world—sharing some of the planet’s most beautiful regions not only as a guide, but as a travel companion and trusted presence.
Margaux leads experiences by bike, on foot, and on horseback, while naturally integrating wellness practices such as yoga, pilates, conscious breathing, and mindful movement. Each journey is thoughtfully crafted to encourage a different way of traveling—slower, deeper, and more intentional.
