Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “TCS”) define the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the sale of impact-positive, wellness, and active travel services offered by Wattravels. Any reservation or order implies full, unconditional acceptance of these TCS by the client.

Wattravels is registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register, with Margaux Voyemant as the managing director and the registered address at Route de Mondorf, L-3260 Bettembourg – Luxembourg.

    3. Detail of the offers 

Wattravels offers the organisation, consultation, and design of active, well-being, and impact-positive travel experiences for individuals and businesses.

The services available for sale are as follows:

3.1 Services for Individuals

Wattravels offers the following services to private clients:

a) Organised Retreats (Open to the Public)

Retreats are organised for a limited number of participants in a specific region and centred around:

• Sports activities

• Well-being practices

• Positive environmental actions

• Social or community initiatives

Each retreat may include:

• Accommodation

• Meals

• Activities related to the theme of the retreat

Unless otherwise specified, transportation from the participant’s place of residence to the retreat location is not included.

Travel insurance, repatriation insurance, and civil liability insurance must be contracted independently by each participant.

Prices vary depending on:

• Duration (weekend, 4 days, one week, etc.)

• Destination

• Invited speakers or facilitators

• Level of accommodation

• Additional services included

A detailed description of each retreat is provided prior to booking.

b) Tailor-Made Travel for Pre-Formed Groups

Wattravels offers customised travel programs designed for pre-formed groups with specific expectations.

Each proposal is tailored according to:

• The group’s objectives

• Budget

• Destination

• Duration

• Requested activities

A detailed quotation is provided prior to confirmation.

c) Custom Individual Travel – Design Fee

For tailor-made individual travel requests, an upfront non-refundable design fee will be required prior to the commencement of research, administrative work, partner sourcing, and itinerary development.

This fee covers consultation, planning time, and preparation of a personalised proposal.

The amount of the design fee will be communicated in advance. Work will begin only after receipt of payment.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this fee is non-refundable and independent from the final booking decision. If specified in the quotation, it may be deducted from the total cost of the trip upon confirmation.

3.2 Services for Businesses / Corporate Clients

Wattravels designs tailor-made corporate programs based on the specific needs expressed by the client company.

Each project is subject to:

• A needs assessment

• A personalised proposal

• A formal quotation

The price varies depending on the scope, duration, number of participants, location, and services included.

All specific conditions will be detailed in the quotation sent by email prior to confirmation.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

Reservations may be made:

• Online via our partner platform WeTravel

• By email at wa*************@***il.com

Payment methods:

• Online payment via our partner platform WeTravel

• Bank transfer to Wattravels’ designated bank account (IBAN provided during registration process)

A reservation becomes valid only upon receipt of payment according to the agreed terms.

A registration form may be required to collect necessary personal and practical information.

Wattravels reserves the right to refuse a booking in case of incomplete documentation or non-payment.

5. Minimum Participation and Program Modifications

Certain retreats may be subject to a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached, Wattravels reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat.

Wattravels also reserves the right to make minor modifications to the program (schedule adjustments, change of facilitator, accommodation equivalent category, or activity substitution) when necessary due to organisational constraints or circumstances beyond its control, without affecting the overall quality of the experience.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable law regarding leisure services provided on specific dates, no right of withdrawal applies to the travel services offered by Wattravels.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellation by the Client

No refund will be granted in case of cancellation by the client.

Exception: In cases of force majeure (such as accident or unforeseen medical emergency), and upon presentation of valid medical justification, the client may be refunded up to 70% of the total amount paid.

Administrative fees and the custom travel design fee remain non-refundable.

7.2 Cancellation by Wattravels

Wattravels reserves the right to cancel or postpone a retreat or travel experience in the event of:

• Force majeure

• Safety concerns

• Circumstances beyond its control

• Insufficient number of participants

In such cases, Wattravels may offer:

• A rescheduled date, or

• A credit for a future experience

No additional compensation shall be due.

8. Liability

Participation in activities, well-being program involves inherent risks.

Wattravels cannot be held liable for:

• Accidents

• Injuries

• Loss or theft of personal belongings

• Damage occurring during the retreat or trip

Participants are fully responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate in the activities offered.

Each participant must take out appropriate insurance coverage, including:

• Travel insurance

• Repatriation insurance

• Civil liability insurance

9.Intellectual Property

All content associated with Wattravels, including but not limited to:

• Texts

• Logos

• Trademarks

• Visual content

• Program concepts

remains the exclusive property of Wattravels.

Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

10. Data Protection

Wattravels collects only strictly necessary personal data required for the provision of services, including:

• Name

• Contact details

• Relevant health information (when necessary for the safety of the participant)

This data is used exclusively for service delivery and communication purposes.

Wattravels guarantees the confidentiality of personal data and undertakes not to share it with third parties, except where required by law or necessary for the execution of the service (e.g., accommodation providers).

Security measures compliant with industry standards are implemented to ensure data protection.

For further information, clients may consult the regulations published by the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD).

11. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These TCS are governed by Luxembourg law.

Any dispute arising from these TCS shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg.
