From there, venture into the Vallée Sacrée des Incas (Sacred Valley), a region bursting with majestic ruins, terraced fields, and the enduring spirit of the Andean people.
No trip to Peru would be complete without a visit to the iconic Machu Picchu, where you’ll uncover the mysteries of this ancient citadel perched high in the Andes. Finally, cap off your adventure with the exhilarating Santa Cruz Trek, one of the most breathtaking trekking experiences in the world, offering panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, serene glacial lakes, and pristine valleys.
Local guides as well as a European guide (Margaux) will be there to accompany you during this beautiful getaway to Peru.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lima, overnight in Miraflores.
Day 2: Flight to Cuzco, transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Day 3: Visit Machu Picchu, overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 4: Return to Ollantaytambo, visit Pisac and Urubamba.
Day 5: Explore Maras, Moray, Chinchero, and Cuzco.
Day 6: Tour of Cuzco and the four nearby ruins.
Day 7: Flight from Cuzco to Lima, bus to Huaraz.
Day 8: Explore the Quilcayhuanca Valley, overnight at Domos Cordillera Blanca.
Day 9: Visit the Llaca Valley and Lake.
Day 10: Trek to Refugio Perú.
Day 11: Hike to Laguna 69 from Refugio Perú, return to Huaraz.
Day 12: Flight from Huaraz to Lima, international departure

My name is Margaux. I’m 33 years old. Passionate about sports, well-being, physical and mental health, and human connections, I founded Wattravels in 2021 with the aim of offering more responsible travel alternatives that respect the environment and everyone involved. Each trip has a unique theme.

A former champion in equestrian competitions (eventing), road cycling guide, and certified yoga instructor (Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, and Yin), I’m always seeking to reinvent myself, discover new ways to help others, and create ever more unique experiences. Bertrand Würsch and Tania Würsch Torres, our local partners are passionate about travel, exploration, and the unique beauty of Peru.
Bertrand brings a wealth of experience from his many journeys across Latin America, particularly in Peru. Fluent in both French and Spanish, and proficient in English, Bertrand combines his linguistic skills with a strong professional background. After completing his engineering studies in Switzerland and working in geomatics and IT, he chose to channel his love for travel, adventure, and Peruvian culture into his own travel agency in Peru.
Having explored every corner of this remarkable country—from the Pacific Coast to the Andes and the Amazon—Bertrand possesses an unmatched knowledge of Peru’s diverse regions. In addition to being a seasoned traveler, he is also a passionate photographer, capturing the essence of Peru’s landscapes and culture through his lens.
